Greetings! Welcome to Grumpypup's Vintage Fishing Tackle. My name is Glen Brewton and I am the site creator and administrator. Grumpypup's has been on-line since 2000 and serves as a place for tackle collectors to buy, sell, or trade vintage lures, reels, and tackle.
This site also serves as a reference library providing useful information about tackle catalogs, color charts, and links to other vintage tackle resources.
Managing this website for the past 23 years has given me the opportunity to meet hundreds of collectors and make many new friends. Thank you to all who have supported this site and continue to do so.
If you would like to purchase an item shown on this site please email me. I accept M.O.'s, personal checks, and even cash. Prices listed do not include postage. All items will be shipped USPS. US residents please add $4 for 1st class mail. Heavier items, such as reels that require priority shipping, will be charged the appropriate flat rate fee. I will cover insurance on any purchase of $50 or more upon request. I will ship to Canada and charge exact postage.
NFLCC return rules are honored here. A buyer has 14 days after receipt of an item to contact the seller for a full refund. All transactions are final after 14 days.

If you are thinking of selling one lure or a mature collection please consider contacting me. I have 23 years of experience selling on-line and a well-established network of contacts across the country. I charge a 10% commission, which is less than ebay or the major on-line auction houses.
As with any collectible, values on vintage fishing tackle are fluctuating constantly. I offer free appraisals and can let you know what it is you have and what it might be worth.
